Ah, I remember the day he died very well. I used to watch his show every night before bed, he taught me everything I know about wild animals. The day he died, my mom called me up to her room and she was like “Steve Irwin died…” I actually cried. I miss you, and thanks for everything!Today would have been Steve Irwin’s 50th birthday. This man was the king of compassion and he taught me so much in regards to showing animals love and giving them respect. I realised today that with his loss, I lost some of my sense of adventure. I just don’t go outside as much as I used to. But now that I have come to know this, I’ll try to regain that quality that Irwin expressed in his 44 years.
I miss you Croc Hunter.
